Background of the Group Slogan Statement Making
In July 2024, we established the “Group Slogan and Statement”.The slogan and statement were formulated based on discussions among management, interviews with external parties, a survey of Group employees, and a project selected from across the Group, with a view to growing into a 100-year company beyond the 70th anniversary of our founding. The project members discussed and summarized their thoughts and ideas, and all executives and employees reviewed and decided on the project.The “Social Landscape” represents the various “landscapes” and “expanses” of the Sekisui Jushi Group's business domain, including roads, towns, the scenery around us, logistics, agriculture, and so on. The message of the Sekisui Jushi Group's values of “safety” and “comfort” are clearly expressed. The word “comfort” also means comfort for people, towns, and the global environment (i.e., environmental friendliness).Under this group slogan and statement, the entire Sekisui Jushi Group will work together to enhance corporate value.
Sekisui Jushi Group Vision 2030
We have formulated our long-term vision “Sekisui Jushi Group Vision 2030” in May 2023, which defines our future vision in order to sustainably fulfill our mission of “supporting safe, secure, and comfortable living for people worldwide” in an environment where the business environment is changing rapidly and the values of our stakeholders are diversifying every day.
Based on three basic policies, we will strengthen “Manufacturing” in our existing businesses and provide “Solutions” for the safety, security, and comfort of future generations. At the same time, we will take on challenges in new business areas, such as addressing sustainability issues, and strengthen overseas development and R&D to achieve growth. We will also aggressively invest in human resources as we consider “human resources” to be the most important management resource for our growth.
